Meet Our Founder – Paresh Joshi
Paresh Joshi is a highly respected EHS expert, sustainability consultant, and author with an illustrious career spanning 50 years across global and Indian industries. As the Founder and Proprietor of BK ESG Solutions, he has dedicated his life to advancing workplace safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainable business practices worldwide.
A Mechanical Engineer with an MBA in Finance and an ADIS qualification, Paresh has worked with leading top Indian and multinational corporations such as BASF, Cabot India and Cabot Dubai, Indofil, and Navin Fluorine, where he played pivotal roles in Maintenance, Engineering, Systems, and EHS.
His expertise extends beyond corporate leadership, having served as
- Chairman of the TBIA SHE Committee for five years,
- A Senior Auditor for the British Safety Council, and
- A MARG Coordinator with DISH, Thane.
- He has also been on the Panel of Responsible Care (RC) Auditors for the Indian Chemical Council and collaborated with Malaysian consultancy firms ASM & BiPa.
Paresh's contributions to safety, sustainability, and compliance have been recognized through numerous prestigious awards, including:
- British Safety Council 5-Star Award for Navin Fluorine Industries (London, 1999)
- Dr. Sam Bodman Excellence Award for Cabot India (Boston, 2007)
- Western India SHE Excellence Award from CII for Cabot India (2007 & 2008)

In addition to his consulting and leadership roles, Paresh is a renowned trainer, having coached chemical companies on Responsible Care Management Systems and the British Safety Council's 5-Star Audit System.
His passion for knowledge-sharing is reflected in his work as an author of two insightful books: "The BBS Blueprint" and "The PSM Playbook", which provide strategic guidance on Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) and Process Safety Management (PSM).

Nikita Malhotra serves as the Co-Founder and Business Head of BK ESG Solutions, where she leads the firm's growth, client engagement, and strategic business development initiatives. As the daughter of Paresh Joshi, a respected sustainability and ESG professional with over five decades of industry experience, Nikita carries forward a strong legacy of excellence while bringing a fresh perspective to the evolving sustainability landscape.
An ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor, Nikita brings valuable expertise in environmental management systems, sustainability frameworks, and operational excellence. She works closely with clients across industries to understand their unique challenges and develop practical solutions that strengthen ESG performance, enhance sustainability reporting, and support long-term business resilience.
